Shipping Information
GENERAL SHIPPING GUIDELINES
It is possible and quite simple to send specimens to my studio. Shipping costs are extra and the responsibility of the client. The bird should be kept frozen (in a plastic bag) until the time of shipment. |
Prior to sealing the box, the US Fish and Wildlife Service requires that all migratory game birds be tagged with the following information:
• Date the bird was harvested
• Where the bird was harvested, ie the State
• Hunters name, address, and phone number, and signature
This information can be placed in the box or in the plastic bag with the bird. Add any photos or possible poses you would like.
The box can then be sealed and addressed to my studio. Shipping should be done by Fed Ex or UPS, or the Post Office, and the bird should go overnight or second day delivery. During the winter months, second day delivery is OK; but in the warm months overnight delivery is preferred. Since I must be home to receive shipment, please contact me by email or phone prior to shipping the bird to confirm details.
